DREAM ON @LA

さだまさしさんのLAコンサートが10月20日(日）にレドンドビーチ・パフォーミング・アーツ・センターで開催され、行って来ました。

Masashi Sada's LA Concert:, a Japanese musician and singer, Masashi Sada, performed his LA concert at Redondo Beach Performing Arts Center on Sunday, 10-20-2013.

午後4時開場。さだまさしさんの音楽CDや本が販売され、午後5時15分からオーロラ日本語奨学金基金創設者の阿岸明子さんのお話、日本語スピーチ優勝者ダコダ・テイラーさんのお話の後、午後5時36分ごろからさだまさしさん登場。

The doors opened at 4 pm to sell his music CD's and books. Ms. Akiko Agishi, the President and Founder of Aurora Japanese Language Scholarship Foundation talked from 5:18 pm. Dacoda Taylor Starck-Knight, Aurora Japanese Scholarship awardee winner, talked his speech after that.

Masashi Sada appeared around 5:36 pm.

客は日本人が多かったです。アメリカ人ダンナさんと一緒に来てる方、お子さん皆さんと一緒に来てる方も居ました。

Many Japanese people came to enjoy his concert. Some Japanese people came with American spouses and children, too.

さだまさしさんは、阿岸さんに頼まれ、5年毎にオーロラ基金のためにLAコンサートをされてるそうです。今年で3回目。同団体は15年前に創設。

Ms. Akiko Agishi asked Masashi Sada to perform is concert for the Aurofa foundation every 5 years, and he did so. It's his 3rd LA concert. This foundation was established 15 years ago.

さだまさしさんは、1977年にLAにレコーディングに最初に来たそう。阿岸明子さんの事務所がコーディネートしてくださり、それ以来のご縁だそう。

When Masashi Sada came to LA first time in 1977, Ms. Akiko Agishi's office cordinated his music recording. They have connections and friendship since then.

コンサート終了後の”アンコール”の写真をちょっと載せます。コンサート中はカメラや携帯電話は使用できなかったので。

I will attach photos taken right after the regular concert and during the "Encore" show, because we were disallowed to use cameras and cell phones during the concert.

さだまさしさんは、関白宣言、北の国から、雨やどり、飛梅、極光　オーロラ、秋桜、いのちの理由、精霊流し、風に立つライオンなど、トークを交えて歌ってくださいました。面白かったです。ソロ活動4011回目のコンサートだったそう。次のLAコンサートは5年後とか。日本では頻繁にコンサートされてるので、聴きたい方は、訪日ください。訪日してコンサートに来られるLAファンもいらっしゃるそうです。

Masashi Sada sang "Declaration of Male Chauvinism", "From North Country", "Rain Shelter", "Flying Plum", "Aurora", "Cosmos", "Reason for Life", "Drifting of the Spirits", "Lion Rising in Winds", etc. and talked a lot of funny stories. It was his 4011th concert in his solo singer 36 years duration. Next LA concert will be 5 years later. He often performs concerts in Japan. Please visit Japan to enjoy his concerts. He said some LA fans visit Japan to enjoy his concerts.

阪神大震災以来20年弱ですが、まだ完全に復旧されてないそう。震災後の兵庫県、2011年3－11日以降の東日本で頻繁に普及活動コンサートされてるそう。

It will become 20 years since Hanshin Earthquake Disaster in Japan, but the affected areas are still not went back to the stage before the earthquake, yet. Masashi Sada has been performing concerts to rescue them in Hyogo and Eastern Japan after 3-11-2011 Earthquake and Tsunami Disaster.

阪神大震災では、平等思想のために例えば、100人の施設で70人分のラーメン寄付の場合に、ずっと配布されず、全部腐ったりが重なったとか。人数で割ってどんどん寄付された物質を利用して欲しかったそうです。同感です。

He said, for an example, when 70 serving Ramen noodles were gifted for 100 people in the rescue site since 1-17-1994 in Hanshin area, they did not serve any thinking of "Equal" thought, and all got spoiled and disposed. They did that. He wished they divided the available foods and goods by the number of the people there.

『日本にボランティアに行けない人は、安心ください。私が良く行ってます。』とのことでした。

私は去年2012年5月に東日本被災地支援（こちら）を少し経験して来ました。。

He said, "Even if you cannot visit and volunteer the suffered people in Japan, don't worry. I go there often."

I visited Eastern Japan to volunteer "there" in May 2012.

「東北復興応援フェア」がミツワ・トーレンス店、コスタメサ店で10月17日から20日まで開催されてます。18日夕方にトーレンス店に行くと、偶然友人に遭遇！宮城県「仙台竹次郎」ラーメンと「権米衛」のうなぎ、玄米ひじきおむすびを食べました。
(「仙台竹次郎」魚界系豚骨醤油ラーメン /"Sendai Takejiro",Fish, Pork Bone, Shoyu Soup Ramen)

"Raising TOHOKU Fair" is being held at Torrance and Costa Mesa locations from October 17 to 20, 2013. I went to Torrance store on October 18 and ate Fish & Pork Bone Shoyu Noodle of "Sendai Takejiro" from Sendai, Miyagi, Japan and Rice Balls of "Gonbei", in Akita, Japan.

宮城県仙台市に店をかまえる「仙台竹次郎」が、“魚介系豚骨醤油らーめん”で勝負！魚・野菜のうまみがきいた豚骨ベースのコクのあるスープ。特製中太麺と愛称バツグンで風味豊かな醤油ラーメンです。

"Sendai Takejiro" brings their "Tonkotsu Shoyu Ramen" for this event.
Tonkotsu based soup is well blended with UMAMI of fish & vegetables and perfect matched special medium thick noodles. Enjoy this full-flavored shoyu Ramen.

They are selling natural Apple, Grapes, Tomato, etc. juices. Some sales persons were visiting from Yamagata prefecture to sell them.

蟹弁当などいろいろ食品が売られてました。

They were selling Crab bento boxes and many kinds of foods there.


山形名物「新杵屋」の芋煮、玉こんにゃく、炊き込みご飯など。
山形で、出店や屋台でよく見かける、しょうゆと鰹だしがしみた玉こんにゃく。その起源は江戸の元禄の頃と言われている山形の芋煮会で有名な芋煮と炊き込み御飯のセットをお試しください。

3ヶ月前のミツワ「九州沖縄展」に沖縄店が出てた店です。日本各地にあるのかも。。。

This Crepes shop was there during Mitsuwa "Kyushu Okinawa Fair". They might have locations in many prefectures in Japan.

Masashi Sada's LA Concert:, a Japanese musician and singer, Masashi Sada, will perform his LA concert at Redondo Beach Performing Arts Center on Sunday, 10-20-2013. The doors will open at 4 pm to sell his music CD's and books, and his concert will start at 5 pm.

The reserved tickets are sold at $35, $55, $75, $100, $125, and $150. When I called the concert organizer, "Aurora Foundation" office on 10-16-2013, $35, $125, $ $150 tickets were sold out. I purchased $55 tickets.

チケットは、$35、$55、$75、$100、$125、$150の指定席が販売されてました。10月16日にこのコンサートを組織されている、オーロラファンデーションに電話したところ、$35、$125、$150チケットは売り切れだったので、$55チケットを購入しました。

このコンサート会場は私の自宅のご近所にあるので、見学して来ました。駐車場もあります。

This theater is near my house, so I went there to take a look at it. They have a parking lot there, too.

もうすぐ、さだまさし　さんのコンサートです。
楽しみで～す！
