LAパワースポット★ Lake Shrine

"Lake Shrine"を1年ぶりに再訪。8月13日午後1時から2時までの短い訪問でした。ここはＬＡのパワースポットとして知られ、マハトマ・ガンジー氏の遺灰の一部が「世界平和メモリアル」に収められてます。

"Lake Shrine" is located in Pacific Palisaids, Los Angeles. I re-visited around 1 to 2 pm on August 13th, 2011. It was my second visit. This place is known as a power spot in LA and a portion of the ashes of Mahatma Gandhi is placed in its World Peace Memorial.

池の周りを囲む小道には美しい花々が咲き乱れます。

Lots of beautiful flowers are blooming in the path along the lake.

「レイク・シュライン」はパラマハンサ・ヨガナンダ氏が1950年に一般公開して以来毎年数千人がここを訪れ、再訪する。ここを訪れると魂が平和になり、この美しいサンクチュアリー（聖域）のように心と魂がリフレッシュされる。

Since its opening to the public in 1950 by Paramahansa Yogananda, the Lake Shrine has inspired thousands of visitors each year, many of whom return again and again to refresh mind and spirit in the peace that prevades this beautiful sanctuary.

風車小屋チャペル/
Windmill Chapel

左手に見える風車小屋がチャペル。16世紀オランダ式風車小屋のレプリカ。

このチャペルは、火曜日から土曜日の午前9時から午後4時までと日曜日の午後12時から4時まで一般にオープン。
中はとっても静か。チャペル内と外では写真撮影、私語、携帯電話使用禁止です。

The chapel is an authentic reproduction of a 16th century Dutch windmill.

The Windmill Chapel is open to the public Tuesday to Saturday from 9 am to 4 pm and Sunday 12 to 4 pm.
It's very quiet inside. No talking, photos, and phone use inside and outside of the chapel.

ガンジー世界平和メモリアル/
Gandhi World Peace Memorial
金色ロータス橋門の奥の壁の無い寺院が「ガンジー世界平和メモリアル」です。ブラス(真鍮）の棺には、マハトマ・ガンジー氏の遺灰の一部が収められてます。パラマハンサ・ヨガナンダ氏の自伝によれば、1935年にガンジー氏のアシュラムを訪ね、インドのワードハに行った時にガンジー氏の遺灰の一部をアメリカに持ち帰るよう指示されたそう。

Gandhi World Peace Memorial
Behind the Golden Lotus Archway, in a "wall-less temple" is the Gandhi World Peace Memorial. A brass coffer contains a portion of Mahatma Gandhi's ashes. It was dedicated to the Lake Shrine. Yogi, Paramahansa Yogananda describes a visit in 1935 to Gandhi's ashram in Wardha, India in his Autobiography.


2－3箇所に滝があり、イオンがでてとても清々しい。。。光のオーブもあちらこちらに出てました。

There are waterfalls in 2 to 3 locations in Lake Shrine. It produces lots of ion and makes it cool. There were lots of orbs of lights here and there.
