9月18日『えぼし拉麺亭』に4年ぶりに行ってきました。ロミタ市に18年ほど前からあります。Lomita Blvd 沿い Crenshaw Blvdの1ブロック東側です。 "Eboshi Noodle Bar" restaurant has been there for more than 18 years in Lomita along Lomita Blvd. and 1 block East of Crenshaw Blvd. I re-visited on 9/18/09 for the first time in 4 years. 同じコーナーモール内にお好み焼きとパスタの『Gaja Moc』、うどんの『近江ささや』、『さくらビデオ』などが入ってます。今年7月にオープンした『Ramen California』からもすぐ。1ブロック東側です。
There are "Gaja Moc"(Okonomiyaki and Pasta), "Oumi Sasaya Udon Restaurant", "Sakura Video", etc. in the same corner mall. It's just 1 block East of "Ramen California" that opened last July.
Shoyu Ramen $6.20, or $8.80 as a Combination with Gyoza Dumplings (5 pcs). I ordered the Gyoza Combo. Shoyu means Soy Sauce. The soup is a clear chicken broth with soy sauce flavor. The medium fine egg noodles have good texture. The noodles must be the same as the one made by a Noodle Manufacturer which served "Dan Dan Mein Noodle" at Mitsuwa Summer Festival last August.
餃子 （通常6個で＄4.20） セットだと5個で＄2.60増しなので、＄2近くお得です。。
Gyoza Dumpling (Regular $4.20 for 6 pcs) For a Gyoza Combo with a Ramen noodle, it's $2.60 more for 5 pieces, so you save about $2.

Vast selection of menu includes 37 kinds of Ramen Noodle, 27 kinds of Appetizers, 29 kinds of Chinese and Curry Rice A La Carte, and some Combination menu. It's like a local Ramen shop down the street in any town in Japan. You can read Japanese magazines and Anime comic books while waiting for your food.
The owner chef came to Los Angeles as a general manager of a Japanese beer company. He was ordered to be transferred back to Japan around 18 to 20 years ago. Then, he quit the company and opened this Ramen Noodle Bar Restaurant. You can tell the name of the beer company by looking at the Lucky Cat Object placed at the entrance. The photo is listed at "Rameniac.com" review site below. They have wide selection of Beer and Sake. It's OK to walk in for a guy alone or a woman alone. Senior citizens over 65 will get 20% off on a main dish. You need to let the server know upon ordering.
It was my first visit in 4 years, because they had a sign "Sold Out Noodles and Closed Early."when I visited there 3 years ago. It happened 3 times in a row, then I stopped going there for a while. This time I arrived around 1:30 PM, and it was almost empty. Maybe because some more Ramen restaurants opened near by, and it's a competitive area now.
