3月15日バルボア公園に桜のお花見ピクニックに行ったあとUCLA大学のキャンパスに遊びに行った。一緒にピクニックに行った高校の後輩3人は現役女子大生。そのうちの一人CHEMがUCLAの学生で4年生。一人は日本から遊びに来ていたため、送りに寄ったついでに案内してもらった。
UCLAのHPをのぞくと、今年の6月13日の卒業式にビル クリントン元アメリカ大統領がスピーチをすると書いてある。学業とスポーツ両方に文武両道な大学。
私はUCLA Extensionでビジネス法律と会計のクラス11クラスを取ったのでとてもいい思い出がある。同じキャンパスを利用して夕方、夜、週末などにクラスがあった。
ちょうどロイスホールの時計が5時を報せていたのでビデオに録画しユーテューブに35秒ほどアップしました。このロイスホールは一番古い4つのビルのうちの一つ。とても伝統的です。
北東の端にあるアートビルとアートガーデンを散策し写真を撮りました。
I visited UCLA with 3 other college students on Saturday, 3/15/08, after attending a cherry blossom picnic luncheon at Balboa Park, Van Nuys, CA.
One of them, Chem, is a senior at UCLA. She showed us around UCLA campus. There is a famous UCLA Bruin bear near UCLA book store/Student Activity Center.
I checked UCLA's website. It said Bill Clinton, a former United States president will speak at UCLA commencement ceremony on June 13, 2008.
A bell was ringing while we passed by Royce Hall, one of the 4 oldest buildings on UCLA campus. I captured it for 35 seconds and uploaded to YouTube.com below.
I have my fond memories at UCLA campus, too, because I took Business Law, and 11 accounting classes at UCLA Extensions at night and weekends, on the same campus around 1993 to 1995. There is an Art building in Northern East side with art garden. I took a lot of photos around there.
