6月30日夕方、サウスベイ・ギャラリア前の『マリー・カレンダー』で目にした、「チョコレート・クリーム・パイ$6.99」のサイン。1度通り過ぎましたが、裏道を曲がって戻り店に飛び込みました。
On 6/30/09 evening, I saw a sign of "Chocolate Cream Pie $6.99" at "Marie Callender's" in front of South Bay Galleria mall. I passed it by, but I drove around alleys to return and entered the restaurant.
自宅に到着するなり、さっそく試食で〜す！
I tried a bite of it as soon as I got home!
新鮮ないちごを添えてみました。チョコレートとバニラカスタードをブレンドしたチョコレート・クリームはまろやかでクリーミー。
普段$11.99するこのチョコレート・クリーム・パイが$6.99でした。＄５もお得でした！
I added fresh Strawberries on the side. Chocolate is blended with Vanilla Custard Cream to make the "Chocolate Cream." It's mellow and creamy!
Regularly, Chocolate Cream Pie is $11.99. It was $6.99, so it was good deal for 5 bucks!

First I watched it as a regular safety video.
Then, I noticed all casts in the video clip are naked and wearing "Body Paint.!It's enjoyable, and yet, gives you good flight safety advices.

福岡市東区にある筥崎宮は日本三大八幡の一つ。西暦921年設立。923年に現所在地に移転。平安時代から続く伝統と文化。四季折々の花苑やお祭りで年中賑わう。去年6月あじさい苑に母と訪れた際の写真を公開します。

Hakozaki-gu Temple is located in Higashi-ku, Fukuoka-shi, Fukuoka Prefecture and is one of Japan's three great Hachimangu temples. Hakozaki-gu was first established in 921 during the Heian period, under the authorization of Emperor Daigo. A magnificent temple was built here and, in 923, was transferred from the Chikuzendaibu-gu. It has long tradition and culture. It is also cherished with beautiful flower gardens and festivals year around. I will show you the photos of Hydrangea flowers taken at this temple in June 2008. I visited the garden with my mother.

梅雨に濡れた約3500株のいろとりどりの紫陽花。開苑期間中は弦楽四重奏、フルートアンサンブルのミニコンサートや南坊流の野点茶会などのイベントも開催された。毎年6月1日から30日まで開苑。
今年間に合わなかった方は来年是非どうぞ。博多の7月は山笠で賑わいます。
9月中旬には筥崎宮で放生会（ほうじょうえ）大祭が開催され、100万を超える人手。最近はその期間神社や寺院がライトアップされ、新たな名所になっているそう。
There are 3500 stumps of colorful Hydrangea flower. During the Hydrangea exhibit, there were events of mini classic concerts, Flute ensembles, Garden Tea Ceremonies, etc. Hydrangea exhibit is from June 1st to June 30, every year. I recommend visiting this Hydrangea exhibit next year, if you could not make it this year. In Hakata, Fukuoka, it will be the season to enjoy "Yamakasa Festival" in July.
In mid September, there will be "Houjoue" festival at Hakozaki-gu Shrine. Over 1 million people will be there. Lately they light-up shrines and temples during that period, and it became another landmark to visit.

7月4日前後、全米各地で『独立記念日花火大会』が開催されます。今年は景気後退の影響で中止になったところも多いとききますが、今日現在、ロサンゼルス郡消防庁に報告されている花火大会の予定を見ると、かなりの市町村で例年通り行われるようです。
"July 4th Fireworks Shows" will be held throughout USA around 7/4/2009. I heard many cities, towns, and villages are calling it off this year due to bad Economy, but it seems many local cities and towns are having it as usual, according to Los Angeles County Fire Department's July 4th Firework website.
ロス近郊で開催されるのは、ロサンゼルス、マリナデルレイ、トーレンス、レドンドビーチ、サンピドロ、ロングビーチ、カーソン、ローンデール、イングルウッド、ハリウッド・ボール、カルバシティー、ガーディナ、マリブ、カラバサス、バーバンク、パサディナ、アルハンブラ、セリトス、ダイアモンドバー、サンタ・クラリタ、ランキャスターなどなど。
